How convenient that they should all agree with you. Quote:Personally, I don't really care that RA was leaving or that Lucas would die, what really mattered to me was that the storyline makes sense! I believe this about as much as I believe in Father Christmas. Now if we could all return to discussing what was said in the interview and refrain from hijacking another thread with general non-specific anti-writers talk. That would be swell. And before you all jump on me for being rude/inconsiderate/fascist or whatever your chosen word is today. I think I'm saying what a great deal of other people are thinking and while I appreciate your right to express opinion I think you can do so with a little more tact and consideration to other people. Btw, thank you Tea Lady for posting a link to the interview. Sig & Av Guidelines | Rules | Spoiler Policy |

And just because people I know agrees with me doesn't mean every single human being on this planet does. Well I'm sorry you don't believe in Father Christmas, but you are not me, how would you know what my actions are? How would you know if I would watch a show or not just because a character I love is exiting? That would be swell. They talk about the storylines in the interview and their views, so I don't see how people are "hijacking" the thread when people are expressing opinions on the writers' explanations and views. And I don't see how it's just "non-specific anti writers talk", in fact, it seems quite specific to me. It's not like people are just saying writers are just simply stupid, they're pointing out pieces of storylines that doesn't work or what the writers said and discussing it. No offense but your assumptions and putting words in other people's mouth could use more "tact" and "consideration" too. No one is calling you "rude" or "inconsiderate" or "fascist", people are simply here discussing and debating what the writers' view on their storyline is and how others view it. RE: [Spoilers] Interview with S9 writers Sam Vincent & Jonathan Brackley
Let's just calm it down a bit. I'm sure there were people who didn't mind Jucas storyline. Bravonine just doesn't know those people maybe.
It is hard not to talk about Jucas when in this interview the writers refer to that plotline very specifically. I believe there is another interview/twitter QandA or something where they discuss Ruth and Harry and in that case everyone would be discussing those two characters. I understand that hearing about Lucas/John is annoying but in the context of series nine and this interview it was inevitable that someone would bring it up- people did. From the first page. But anyway who cares? It's not worth either of you getting upset over. Nitrus, what particular thing struck you about the interview? What parts interested you? |
