RE: [spoilers] Lucas and Sarah Caulfield
Yeah, it's funnier if you reverse adjectives. I was previously calling it "The New Adventures of Old Christine (Spooks stylin') but it's better this way. My comedy is a work in progress.

Big Grin There is soo much Spooks related comedy...

Back on topic Big Grin Is Sarah Caulfield/the actress Australian? Really? So why is she playing an American?

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

Because the last Australian who played an Australian in an international film was Heath Ledger in 10 Things I hate About You. I think I said elsewhere on the forum that all australian actors learn very early on that they have to master accents. The local industry rarely provides enough work, though the good quality stuff is pretty awesome.

She's actually Irish by birth but grew up in Adelaide, SA. I think she's married to an Englishman.

Didnt she play Princess Diana? I keep thinking I am watched Princess Diana with a Texan accent. She bores me and when she is on the screen my mind will wander.

Oh yeah, sorry. But still, the leads in that are megastars! And that's a very rare example. Plus, I meant more along the lines of a film made elsewhere in the world including someone with an aussie accent. And no, Robert Downey Jnr doesn't count.

Yes, Tea Lady, she did.

Give poor Lucas a break - he hasn't had sex for 8 years (unless he got lucky in the strip club and we missed it) - his judgement is clouded!!!

I must admit, it's one of the reasons I'm witholding judgement, because I reckon it's been longer than 8 years. I mean, before he was caught in Russia, how much action was he getting? Poor guy. Leave him alone. He's got a beautiful spy just begging for his attention. Give him an episode to have some fun.
