RE: Peter Firth #2
Mmmm! Lovely pics, thanks very much! I also thought that he appeared older at times during last season, but this year he looks mighty fine. I reckon his face is a little fuller which suits him; he was looking a bit thin, especially in 9.3.

I think that it befitted the poignancy of the Series 9 theme. It is true that a fuller face makes one look younger. Perhaps, after all, Series 10 might not be as gloomy as S9 if PF looks more relax. |

You're so right. The thinner, haggard Peter Firth definitely contributed to the air of despair of last series. I am hoping that the lovely bubbly Peter that we keep seeing during the filming is going to rub off as Harry Pearce. I SO want to see confident, clever and sharp Harry, rather than the self pity of the last series. |

I have several very inappropriate comments about butterflied prawns bubbling around my head because of you! I will refrain and only say, What a great kid! And what a cool thing for PF (and others) to do. Now that is making a difference with your fame. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |

Nice to see a positive story about a young man doing something worthwhile and PF's way of using his fame. Perhaps this clearly explains why PF ran from the headonistic allure of the kind of fame his earlier work earned him. Spain is a great place to hide. |

Am now entertaining visions of him preparing the paella in said galley of boat, tea towel draped across a shoulder. And yeah, way to go kid, well done to the young man. |

I've been reading this whilst waiting for my 'second chance Olympics ticket request' to load, so thank you for the pleasant distraction Tea Lady! What a great idea and I'm glad it was such a success for the schoolboy. I can really imagine Peter being more than happy to do this. |
