I do not believe that Harry will go to Elena just after the investigation. It would be foolish and against his principles. If indeed he renews his relationship with Elena, I think it would be because he is trying to find out who is his impersonator. After all, she is married to the Russian Ambassador and it would be a liability for the British government if suddenly the Head of Section D had an affair with the wife of the Russian Ambassador. After all Harry is not Adam. I don't say it cannot happen, but it seems to me unlikely.

I suppose that Elena was trained to be a Soviet Union spy by the KGB which were merciless. Gulag or death awaited anybody who did not follow the party line. Harry knows the Soviet mentality and does not expect Elena to have changed her treacherous ways. I cannot believe that she was an innocent participant in the spying of her husband. Whatever one thinks of Ruth, she is not devious and has strong moral beliefs. I think that Harry has come to appreciate these qualities in Ruth.

As I said before, Kudos knows too well how to use the powerful chemistry between PF and NW. I doubt that another actress, however good, could break this relationship in one series. By that I mean we will see more scenes with Harry and Ruth than with Harry and Elena.

Sorry about the rant, but I hate to see you distressed. I understand your concern which makes sense. I better be right too.

Is it possible that Harry and Ruth are at something formal (a memorial perhaps) and Ruth reaches forward to squeeze Harry's hand, and he responds? I was lying in bed last night running the scene through my mind, and was thinking how sensual it was, in an understated, unspoken way. It may turn out to be wrong, but I like the picture in my head.

As for the bit where Harry is dragging that figure down the corridor, I think that is also Ruth.

If its a Funeral then who's is it? Thats a worry, is one of the team going to die? I'm not so sure it's formal, I have a fear it could be Ruth begging Harry not to do something to save her... I hope that doesn't happen though :'(...But it could be Max Witt's funeral come to think of it...Harry's going to need some comfort

What a lovely image! Ruth seems to be comforting a distressed Harry, if it is the same picture of the field. Why would she give him a piece of paper in the middle of a field? Dressed in black, they might have gone to the memorial service for Max Witt.

How terrible the image of Harry dragging Ruth down a corridor! When you look at the screen cap, it looks like it might be a young Harry pulling a Russian body. Harry does have flashbacks and perhaps it is one of them. It could also be the body of Max Witt.

Yes Im not sure if it IS Harry dragging body but I think it is him, But im 99% sure its Ruth... u can see long skirt between the legs of the man dragging the body...

I probably will be laughing later for this but oh well....

The storyline of

Harry getting again romantically involved with Elena reminds me of class reunions. Some married people attend them without their spouses. Former high-school sweethearts meet again and suddenly rekindle their romances.:

According to Tweeter sources, it seems that we might get upset tomorrow with the press release of TV Satellite Week. I won't say any more, because it is not my source, and I do not have any details. I have a bad feeling about the storyline of Elena and Harry. Frankly, I cannot believe that Harry would be such a fool if indeed he gets again involved with Elena, a former KGB spy. It must be a black op to find out the impersonator.

We seem to get mixed reviews from the press. The Cultbox press release is quite positive about Harry's feelings towards "the love of his life, Ruth Evershed".

When Harry is upset, he makes a fist and put his hand into his pocket. In the trailer, Ruth finally has the courage to take his hand into hers. I want to believe this sweet version of the field scene, because Harry is upset and Ruth looks up tenderly at him.

I hope that, if it is Ruth who is dragged by Harry and hurt, she does not say these terrible words: Harry, no, this can't be the end...and then we switch to the crying Harry on the Grid.

Unfortunately, these words might also mean a break-up for them, which in a way is worse for me and obviously for Ruth.

What gets to me that even in great tragedy there is happiness. I do not understand why Harry and Ruth would not be allowed to snatch a few moments of happiness after so many years of suffering.

It is best not to speculate and just enjoy the show!

Well IF it is Harry dragging Ruth it might also be the case that he is trying to save her from blowing up building or smth

When it comes to Elena I dnt think Harry would chose her over Ruth... dnt really remember what was said on twitter about tomorrows mags but they probably mean that it will be no bed of roses for Harry and Ruth...

One thing I wonder WHEN did Harry had this fling with Elena back in the days? Was it before Jane? But she was his high school/uni love? I mean was he married when he met Elena? If he was, then very very naughty boy that Harry Pearce WAS... LOL
