Tom or Zoe would really work because spooks has moved on so much since they were a part of it. Style, content and characters. For example - remember how Zoe fell apart getting some gun action in the eerie episode, yet now the officers run through the park holding a gun and whip it out these days without blinking? It's a different show.

And please god no Christine and Tom. They had enough air time back then. Sorry to their fans, but the relationships of Tom just became too much.

Still going for Malcolm, Juliet, Tessa, Mace in that order.

lol im hoping for it to be either juliet (entirely plausable with the CIA involvement).
or Zoe, which seems a bit far fetched after her departure...there wouldnt be enough time to explain it properly without gettiung in the way of storylines currently unfolding.
id love it to be tom or someone but same reason as zoe for maybe not being them
i wouldnt mind it being malcolm although he already had a 'comeback' and i reckon it may be someone slightly higher profile.

I just don't have a clue and IMdB are refusing to update their cast for Ep6!

Peter Firth did make a reference to this in an interview butfrom his reaction it didn't sound as if it was someone who had a major role in the past.

I do so hope they're not going to make him behind all this in some UK government/MI-6 plot. He did after all leave on bad terms and we know these writers care nothing for past established characters. Hoping he's there as Harry's secret trump card. Dreading this now!
