Series 8 wishlist

What do you want to happen in series 8 to make it the best ever? All ideas and wishes here. As silly and wonderful as you want

I would like to see:

Harry being tortured by the Russians but nobly resisting for his country.
Ruth saving Harry in some way, and then staying for the whole series.
The return of Oliver Mace, and him eventually being killed of in some way.
Would like to see the team deal with a hijacked plane at Heathrow!

I want...

Ruth to return to the grid for good.
Ros to be really pushed to the limits emotionally somehow, see how far she can go.
Lucas to just carry on being brilliant, maybe discover some deep dark secrets about him.
Harry to get his act together and ask Ruth out PROPERLY.
I also like Silktie's idea of Oliver Mace returning.

I would also like to see Ruth stay, and then some development of the romance with Harry. But I would like them to continue to do it like they did in season 5; i.e. keep it understated. I wouldn't like to see some soap opera-like journey where they're on-again off-again the whole time... Oh who am I kidding - if that's the only way I'll get some Harry/Ruth development I'll even take that!

I'd like a final showdown between Harry & Mace.. Mace is an excellent character who just kind of fizzled out.. he should get a proper "guns at dawn" type storyline.
