RE: Doctor Who
He might be really good. But yes, he's a foetus.

RE: Doctor Who
He, honestly, makes me think of Mister Wizard for some reason or Bill Nye the science guy probably to be more accurate.

RE: Doctor Who
Check out Wylie's latest blog posting at lifeofwylie.com

The last two lines of this made me cry, what the 8 year old asked him and what RTD said in reply. The idea that people are having nightmares but don't know what they're about is GENIUS.

RE: Doctor Who
Very nice! I love the picture. Is that Donna's grandfather? And John Simm. Sweet!

And you're right about that last bit. Very touching.

RE: Doctor Who
John Slim?!

Yeah, Wilf was Donna's grandfather, only introduced because the actor playing her dad passed away suddenly. They had to reshoot some scenes and they used this actor because he'd been in the Christmas special so they decided to play it out thay way.

I didn't actually know Catherine Tate was in the Christmas special for real, so I'm very glad to hear that she is. Even though it might just be as a clueless Donna.

RE: Doctor Who
AWWWW! I love that last two lines!

I heard a rumour that
Spoiler: show
Billie Piper and Camille Coduri would be in it as well. Anyone know if this is true? (I don't want to know any plot spoilers, just if they are...

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

I'm glad he was in it. He was great in the series. He was also a great foil for Donna's mom.

I hope it is. That would be cool.

RE: Doctor Who
I dunno.

Isn't it gorgeous? I actually cried, but that could be for a host of other reasons, so I'll test it on my sister over the next few days. She doesn't cry as easily as I do though.

I could just really imagine him saying that, without being patronising or anything, just that it was this gift and almost holy trust. And Moffat feels similarly, so I bet he's a bit nervous. I know he co-wrote the two parter.

I'm sort of sad that he is, but had since managed to cope with the pain Wink and am looking forward to seeing what Matt Smith's Doctor is like. Although I am not looking forward to a certain person being on the show...
Spoiler: show
Alex Kingston who played Professor River Song. Honestly, I think that Steven Moffat is a brilliant writer, but I have so far hated half his episodes. Series 1 - good. Series 2 - Bad. Series 3 - Good. Series 4 - Bad. I dread to think how the next series will go.

If I recall correctly, she said that "her" Doctor was older than DT, so she shouldn't be appearing in the next series. Which also means that the next Doctor after Matt Smith will have to be older. Won't that have to be the final one? The Doctor can only regenerate 12 (or is it 13?) times, so he'll have used up all his lives.

I'm sure they'll find a way to get around that.
