Series 8 will air in mid-October - BBC Confirm

I contacted the BBC press office about when the new series will air and received this response:

Quote:The new series is due to start in mid October.

This means it will begin airing EARLIER than Series 7 did. Which was on the 27th October.

If we assume that it will return to a Monday night slot, this puts the new series airing on the 12th or 19th of October.
