Be warned with Man Bites Dog; to say it's black humour doesn't come close...in fact I had to turn it off in the end, so dark was its humour. So maybe that's not a great plus for the film.
A Room for Romeo Brass is an early Shane Meadows film. Great performance from Paddy Considine. Both of them worked together on Dead Man's Shoes too, which is staggeringly good, but rather tragic. Another wonderful performance from Considine can be seen in My Summer of Love, which I did not expect to enjoy. Another good British film is London to Brighton - look out for Jason Belling! |
