What music are you into?

This week I have been listening lots to Neko Case, The Decemberists and Grizzly Bear who are all out here for the Sydney Festival. Finally got to see Neko Case live in one of my favourite venues in Sydney and she was AMAZING!!! One of the people in Angel Place told her to turn the amps down and as she put it: "This is a fucking rock concert, the amps need to be turned up."

Angel Place is usually used for classical concerts, I should point out. I've sung in many of them. I think whoever it was probably bought tickets thinking she was some quasi classical singer and was sorely disappointed. Hilarious!!
