Good question! If the fans have anything to say about it, H and R will get together in some way. Hopefully, someone from Kudos is really paying attention! I think, based on what PF and NW have said in the past, they'd like to have something happen for the two characters also. But it may very well depend upon whether or not there's a series 10. If yes, the writers may string us along some more. If not, maybe there is finally a chance for R and H but I'd guess that it won't be spelled out definitively until the last ep of the last series.
