RE: Max Brown Joins Spooks for Series 9!!!
Several points I would like to make:

1)Trust me to not be online the day something actually worthwhile happens.

2) The guy is a spunk and was great in The Tudors. With Tea Lady in that I also thought "AHA! Yorkshire lad"....all good things come from Yorkshire, as PF demonstrates, and they can have fun with county accents on the set. I also declare my undying devotion to Harry. Still think Armitage nudges him out, but I quite clearly have a thing for older men and MB is too close to my age (two years older).

3) With Nitrus on the point that he might be a young and flashy style spook...bit Danny-esque perhaps?

4) This is probably our 'official' confirmation of season 9. Fire up the new sub-forum, Nitrus!

5) I apologise for the bullet points but they're kind of necessary tonight and hey, you didn't have to wade through one of my typically verbose posts.

6) Thanks nadiatw, who is a very quiet but dedicated, longterm member, for the heads up.

7) Most importantly of all -
Series season 8 Spoiler: show
We don't know yet whether HN is back. But if she's not that leaves Ruth as the only woman on the Grid. For those of us who want a subtle sub plot getting Harry and Ruth to get it together, this is good news. Because NW is now the default female lead.....basically because she's the only female on the Grid. But for all sorts of reasons, I think this is bad for the show. (And this is not about NW or Ruth, but just about balance and having a very different sort of woman around to bounce off the guys - no, not literally, girls.) So, more than ever, I hope HN sticks around. I think Ros has more stories to be told.
