Hi there, everyone. I'm from the US, but currently living abroad in Taiwan. Have a number of lovely Brit friends who have become my "pushers" of all the great stuff you have on BBC. I am completely enamoured of Spooks (I say enamoured, other friends might say obsessed...but who is going to quibble over semantics?) as only someone who has had the luxury of watching the first 7 seasons over a few months can be. Watching Season 8 in real time and having to wait each week was painful! I'm a huge fan of the writers of this show as I believe they produce movie quality stories each week that never cease to amaze but wish they would spend more time developing characters (and making you care about them) as we go forward. I'm a politics geek and find myself reading the news and thinking, "Oh my god, I can so see Harry manouvering in the background on that issue." I think the actors are amazing and especially love Peter Firth, Nicola Walker & Hermione Norris. Harry and Ruth make me frustrated, annoyed and misty-eyed in equal measure. I miss Adam and I miss the sense of humor that they seem to have lost since his demise. Oh yeah...and I'm a bit on the verbose side.
