Here is a very short list of some of my "must dance to" songs"

Walkin' on Sunshine - Katrina & the Waves
Dancin' in the Dark - Bruce Springsteen - (HUGE Springsteen fan! - not always danceable but luv him!)
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams

A more "dodgey" song I can't resist dancing to...Summer Lovin' from Grease - especially fun when two groups sing the parts to each other!!

I love dancing Summer Loving too, hahaha and under the circumstances you describe and You're the one that I want...

Another Springsteen fan here as you say not always danceable but when I hear one of his songs I smile broadly

Viva la vida - Coldplay (maybe not dance but jump )
Groenlandia - Los Zombies (I totally love this song, everytime I hear it start dancing it like mad, I normally dance playing the fool so no big difference)
No me beses en los labios - Aerolíneas Federales
