Yay you posted! I completely forgot to tell you - my fave bit is the idea of Ruth looking over her own obituary and satisfying her emotions by checking it rigorously for errors. If Ruth looked back at all, this is how I'd imagine her doing it, sitting at her kitchen table with whatever paper it was published in and a red pen.
