Now that I have made it all the way through 8.3 for the first time, I can actually read this. This is lovely TeaLady! It is hard to believe that this is your first shot at fan fic. Such an enthralling idea: what if George didn't die. You have the character voices down very nicely. I like how you have illustrated the rift that must open between George and Ruth in this situation. Bless her, she is going to at least try to do the right thing. But as we say here, It ain't right!

I eagerly await the next installment.
