He was referring to the fact that he thought they would try to kill Hicks, and that Ruth, as a result of being with Hicks in the safehouse, was therefore in danger too. It's pretty obvious he's worried about Ruth's safety at this point - why else would he ask her to call him once she gets to the safehouse? |
