Some beautifully understated acting here from Harry and Ruth as all the unfulfilled yearning crept to the surface.
Loved the scene with Harry and the old HS - it was very Le Carre in it's old school acceptance of a deserved end.

Dimitri seems very straight-down-the-line and Beth, well, I think she could become interesting - she's got a hard act to follow though.

Lucas seemed a particularly tough guy tonight, slightly out of whack with what we've seen before. Perhaps it is setting us up for the person he was before MI5? Intrigued with what they are going to do with him. John...really...? How many men's names are there? This'll be the fifth time he's played someone called John!
