Well, Lucas is a graduate from the Ros School of Induction after all. At least he didn't Tazer poor Beth.
I was a little taken aback at the very offhand manner he basically ordered Ruth to let Beth stay in her spare room, though. No wonder Ruth was a little annoyed at that.
