Good question. Lots of possibilities. Jo is a likely contender because she has been in the series so long. Although Jo has been around for a long time I think her character is more 'rounded', compared with Ros. She demonstrates loyalty.

Ros is a hard nosed and somewhat obsessive character, she provides the impetus for the 'hard' decisions at times...I don't really think of her as a 'team player'. This could be her downfall. I haven't 'forgiven' Ros for the way she pursued Ruth claiming that she was "doing her job". I think she saw Ruth as a 'competitor' in the organisation.

Ruth returns in Series 8: so she could be a possible contender as well. I hope not!!!

In terms of the series itself: it would be very hard to see the writers killing off Harry or Malcolm.
