If Lucas has one brain atom left, he WON'T EVER tell Maya. In fact, he shouldn't tell ANYONE in his private life. As to Maya's longevity (spec only, but I'll put it in a Spoiler) :

I'd say she's killed in either episode 7 or 8, by Vaughan (to get Lucas to react to whatever Vaughan's ultimate goal is) or by Lucas (when he finds out her secret and/or when she betrays him)
