Jesus, BravoNine! You're gonna make me cry! I prefer to think of Sir Harry Pearce sinking slowly into the west on his trusty "mule". Metaphorically speaking, of course.

But I agree, Harry will be there through S10 and beyond if there is one (positive thinking), but I could actually see Ruth leaving again. I don't like it, but I can see it. It would have to to top her last write out. No mean feat, if you ask me. And what that will do to Harry, I shudder to think. Certainly lots of dramatic fodder available in that scenario, though.
