Re: The Rover - just in case you are unfamiliar with the title. It's a bawdy Restoration comedy (1677) by a female writer, Aphra Behn. Very fast paced and funny!

I'm afraid I got a bit over excited when i heard the news. I don't think it will be produced until the summer at the earliest, as most large theatres have their programmes organised up until June/ July. Also it will depend how much time RA has available as to whether it will take place in a number of venues of remain in one, eg the Old Vic. It will be great to see RA playing something raunchy, funny and completely unlike Lucas/John.
