Can people please stick to discussion over actual/rumoured casting? That is what this thread is for.

That and I find that much more interesting than the 'Lucas and Writers shambles' discussion which seems to be leaking everywhere on the forum right now.

Sorry to sound like a pain but it's starting to bug me.

Silktie has made a good point in a different thread i think. I don't really see any problem with Alec being section chief. He appears to be good at his job and he's not your usual choice.

Considering the track record of the previous section chiefs i would be rather happy with him.
I'm hoping that he was cast as a continuing role and will be staying on. It was just great casting for him and like i said before, it would be a shame to waste it if it were only meant for the one episode.
