I live in endless, possibly futile, hope of Tariq being allowed out to play even once. I'd like to see some active fulfilment of Harry's "cometh the hour, cometh the geek" promise. Tariq is a perfectly good George Bailey sort of hero character. But I kind of feel as though the show has Ruth for that, and even she gets to go walkabout sometimes. As far as I can remember, Tariq has sat in a van (8.5), sat in a car (8.7), and sat in another van (9.8). Mind you, he did make a pretty spectacular mess of riding a bicycle in 8.2, so maybe confining him to The Grid is for the best
