Agreeing with BravoNine, I want Lucas to wake up from a coma - induced by the nightingale bomb? - and it all to be a bad dream.
I know it is so unlikely he will come back but I cannot believe Lucas would jump off the roof. Admittedly he was stopped from hanging himself in prison but it took him a long time to pluck up the nerve to put the noose round his neck, this is after years of psychological and physical torture. During that time he was also lumbered with the guilt of killing Lucas no.1 so I don't see that the guilt of betraying Harry would result in him jumping to his death, he had a gun in his hand he could have used that. He's a spook for crying out loud, he can disappear if he wants to and 5 will never find him.

Sorry rant over, yes I also think that there will be a gap between the end of series 9 and the start of series 10. It would be such a raw topic to continue straight after. That or the beginning of the first episode will tie up any loose ends then skip ahead.
