I was really wondering about that too!
Could this mean that Lucas isn't dead and that he is going to return for S10? If that would be true, I hope that all those loose ends will be tied up in a decent fashion! Maybe all of this discussing we have about S9 is just making the writers laugh real hard, because they already have a S10 story arc ready, wich explains all the plotholes? Give me some of those straws, please  !
