I did think the fact that Lucas had been shot and struggled to walk at the end of 7.8, was completely forgotten by 8.1. Either that or he was on some brilliant pain-killers!
The contrast between Ruth's old life, all sunny and warm, and her MI5 life, wet, dreary and dark, was portrayed very well.
