This is not the first time that new episodes of Law & Order :UK have aired in Canada first, months ahead of the UK. I think it has something to do with a Canadian broadcasting company being one of the investors of the show.
For "ID", if it airs in the US on 4 March 2011, it will be way ahead of the UK which will only air that episode on 21 March 2011. As for the number of series, I think in the US, they doubled up the UK Series 1 (7 episodes)and 2 (6 episodes) and renamed it Series 1 for the US market, and similarly for Series 3 and 4. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that typically for the US TV market, a series has at least 12 to 13 episodes. Nicola gives a performance in Law & Order : UK "ID" (drama) which is very different from her performance in Being Human "The Longest Day" (comedy). These performances really showcase the tremendous range which this magnificent actress has! ![]() Lost in NicolaLand |
