Not sure I agree with this. People invested in Ros and Lucas despite knowing they'll probably die horribly at some stage... What it does is provide the writers with a challenge to create characters that draws us in despite us knowing they're destined for a terrible fate. But I do agree that the killing off of the main characters have become a bit blase. We are no longer shocked by it, in fact we now expect it to happen. ![]() |
