Episode 6.6 [Re-watch]

Here I am, bringing up the rear again. I watched 6.6 and then fell asleep watching 6.7 so apologies in advance if I get them mixed up.

I do not hate this spisode if only because Malcolm and Jo get to run around in the field being BRILLIANT! I also really, really love the delivery of Harry's hook line just before the opening titles run, "Whoever this is, they know what they are doing. And they know what we are doing as well." Or something like. It just sets the table so all you have to do as a viewer is pull up a chair and start devouring it. And I do kind of like how they let the team get it all so terribly, terribly wrong.

The first half is better than the second half. I guess what I am saying is that the set-up was better than the pay-off.

Again, the interactions with Harry, Bahkshi and Hogan are some of the best stuff.

I liked the plot construction re: the water contamination but not the triggers. Even though they are entertwined. Although the end of the airplane scene is pretty nail-biting. However, I found Ros' reaction to the jeep driving away a bit melodramatic.

I find myself just zoning out when it comes to Ros & Yalta. It still seems so perifery and I'm too lazy to try to put it together by myself. Ros has a lot of passion but not a whole lot of acuity which is out of character for me.
