"What are we going to do today, Brain?"
"What we always do, Pinky - TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!"

And the Animaniacs "translations" of Shakespeare scenes were a hoot! My favorite being Macbeth ("Let's cook a snake. Start with my agent.")

They were a bit after my time and before my kids, but they were as fun for a young adult as they were for small children. I think my now grown nephews may have introduced them to me.

As a child I liked The Monkeys, Scooby-Doo, Land of the Lost, HR Puffnstuff (esp. WitchiePoo) and Groovie Ghoulies.

A Cousin- Same here! I thought Pinky and the Brain was awesome (still do). And Animaniacs always had great parodies, especially the ones you mentioned (Shakespeare). I like how they made fun of contemporary events and some people too Haha. They don't do that in cartoons anymore from what I heard (sans cartoons like Family Guy). Did you like their parodies of current events too?

Scooby-Doo is also one cartoon show I liked when I was growing up! Him and Shaggy were the best! Haha

Land Before Time
Sesame Street
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
DuckTales
Animals Of Farthing Wood
Animorphs

Loved all those Heart

I forgot about Seasme Street and TMNT! I really liked them too (and Alvin & The Chipmunks). DuckTales and Land Before Time as well...it looks like you and I liked a lot of the same shows. I take it that you watched a lot of Disney cartoons on TV when you were younger? Do you remember Darkwing Duck?

Thinking about Sesame Street reminded me of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. Its sad that Fred Rogers passed away almost 10 years ago. His show was great.
