I think they would only consider it because it's been going for 10 years, which is a long time for any Drama to continue for (Minus the British Soaps of course ) they are running out of stories, Anthony Neilson said it too in the 9.7 commentary, so the only thing they can do is go into deep character and then there's only so far that can go too

I think Spooks has still got another Series or 2 left in it, as long as it ends on a good note (Well not a cliffhanger) I'd be happy with that
Kudos haven't got any other major shows out at the moment other than Spooks, at least I don't think they have
