RE: Series 10 Episode 1 discussion
For the first time in my life, I'm able to watch this show real time. I'm currently visiting my family in Köln, Germany and we watched this episode tonight.
I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. There was no score, until the end, which made me feel odd during the entire thing. I can tell you that the minute I saw Sasha and the first flashback to Russia and Tourmaline I called that Sasha was Harry's son. The predictability of that "twist" was rather disappointing to me. I'm usually pretty good at anticipating, but the beauty of spooks was always that I couldn't anticipate the writers. ![]() I also really dislike that new section chief woman. Really. Why do these writers write these ridiculous women? She's way too soft; she's a spy for god's sake, she should be able to kill in the line of duty without crying. It's just ridiculous. Christ, [/b]I miss Ros. "do not underestimate them. they are many things but above all they are poets, for whom love and hate are worth dying for." |
