I liked how Harry's words to Ruth (and vice versa) in that episode almost seemed to be speaking to the fans: when he was telling her about retiring after it was all over and he said : "We both know it's time," (as in, its time to end the series) and then later on, by the docks when Ruth says it can't be the end and he says "Well let's pretend it isn't." That's what I'll do.
"Perhaps the selfsame song that found a path Through the sad heart of Ruth, when, sick for home, She stood in tears amid the alien corn...." |
