My final thoughts on this matter are thus: Spooks is not and never was all about one particular group of fans (or sub-section of a larger group) - it was for all of us, and I for one am deeply saddened and hurt, that in a week where we should be celebrating 10 years of amazing, thrilling, heartstring tugging television, performed with consumate professionalism by some of the finest actors this country has ever produced, the only voices the programme makers, writers and (worst of all IMHO) the actors are hearing are those of anger, hatred and bile. You do not speak for me, that's for damn sure.

It is true though with all things in life, those who are the most angry shout the loudest. I am sure though they are not the only ones who are being heard. It was rather like this at the end of series 9, with Lucas North. Actually, I think that may have been worse, if that is possible. I know a few "hobbit fanciers" wanted to string me up then...

The Helen James "thing" is very odd and removing tweets and the clip from YouTube....Who knows what has gone on. I'm looking forward to S10 DVD though. Nothing to do with the fact that I may be on it, trying to look relaxed and cool while soaked to the skin behind Max Brown.... *coughs*
