The New Prisoner Mini Series

RE: The New Prisoner Mini Series
If you have the one from the 60's watch it first. It's a cult thing, but there are a lot of raving fans. Also, it's inspired many other shows since, including Lost. Patrick McGoohan is great. It may or may not be a sequel to his original series Danger Man in the UK / Secret Agent Man in the US. You don't need to watch it to follow The Prisoner.

I keep the original on my iPod and literally watch an episode every time I take my truck in for service, so it will take me 4 or 5 years to finish.

If you have the second one watch it afterwards. There are some good parts. Ian McKellen is interesting in anything he's in, even if he is a bit flat in this series. I kind of think of the mini series as the illegitimate child of the original series and another show from my childhood, Fantasy Island. I just wouldn't go out of the way to watch it.

Always love your country, but never trust your government.
