Favourite films?

Lars and the Real Girl is incredible. Nancy Oliver wrote the script, and she was abig part of the reason why I then went and watched Six Feet Under and True Blood. She actually studied with Alan Ball. Truthfully, it would have won the oscar for best original screenplay but it was up the same year as Juno, also written by a wonderful, gutsy writer in Diablo Cody. Patricia Clarkson is in this film, and she's sensational - one of those actors I'd go and see anything she was in.

The Goddess of 1967 was a very small Australian film Rose Byrne did my last year of school, 2001. It's also her favourite film role. This was before she became a big star overseas. She's like Abbie Cornish, one of those actors you watch and think, she has it. She'll make it. Byrne's boyfriend Brendan Cowell is also an amazing actor, and he also writes, but he's mainly working in the local industry.

Priscilla was a great film.
