I've had a look, Tea Lady, and sadly I must disagree. I think

Ruth is actually on the Grid, and she does not look particularly dressed up to me. There are definitely no earrings.

But I will be very happy if I'm wrong about this.

I will also be extremely happy if I'm wrong about what I said in the episode 5 thread, that I suspect we're not going to get any more Ruth/Harry scenes that address their relationship. I base this on what PF said in one of his interviews

namely that the writers ignored the relationship in series 8 but that he and NW managed to get a few meaningful looks in. Sigh, if this is true and they don't make a series 9 I will be seriously pissed off.
