RE: S5 E4 - Havensworth Operation
I loved this episode - it's quite a relaxing story line for Spooks as it doesn't contain explosions or too much sprinting round the place. It's calmer than most and although I don't think the series would be as good if they were all like this, it's nice to have a natural pause in the series. The previous episodes had been jam-packed, and I think it was right for this episode to slow down, to focus a bit more on the people in the job. The episode showed a weaker side to Adam, his pain from his wife's death, and in a faster episode would have looked out of place, or would have been shot differently but wouldn't have been so powerful. We see Ros in a more humane light, after the previous three episodes where she's remained pretty ruthless, and Harry and Ruth's relationship, of course, is carried on with the subtle, and less so subtle clips.
DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered. |
