RE: Series 9 Newspaper Reviews / Viewing figures etc
I have only seen one Spooks trailer for the whole of this series. Glad to hear about DCI Banks though

I've not seen a single trailer for Spooks Still, if DCI Banks was as bad as I've heard, perhaps some people will see sense and come watch Spooks next week?

The only thoroughbred in ITV's stable is Foyle's.
I think 5.2m is pretty good. It will drop off a bit the next 3 episodes though. It's how the last 2 episodes rate that will matter. 9.7 especially needs to be really good and get good press to get people watching the finale. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

Can we relax a little about ratings now that season 10 is confirmed??
A good review for 9.3 in The Guardian blog by Vicky Frost. I love her Harry and Ruth love-o-meter LOL http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/t...sode-three We move on from this It's the realisation that I make a negligible difference Sometimes you have to give a man a chance |

RE: Series 9 Newspaper Reviews / Viewing figures etc
Rather disappointing figures last night although it stayed above the 5m mark.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a280...o-58m.html I thought given the good previews and rather poor ones for Banks Spooks might have crept up. As suspected ITV are putting the new Series of Whitechapel with Rupert Penry-Jones up against Spooks next week. Apparently last year Whitechapel was the most-watched crime drama. Drat ITV, but at least Series 10 is in the bag! ITV say that epi 4 of Spooks is the best yet this Season - it will be a corker if it's even better than epi 3! |

Pity about pitting Whitechapel up against Spooks, it's pretty decent though it's not Foyle's.
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

Blinking ITV. Will the BBC fight back though? Will they put out lots of publicity for next weeks episode and show lots of TV trailers? Will they heck.
