To be fair, if I was new to the show I would probably assume Lucas was a bad guy tloo. Or at least a sucker.
They've actually stayed pretty steady over the last few weeks. Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

Usually we have a dip in the middle of a series, but not this time. The BBC must be very pleased about how this is going. If you think about how much ITV must have spent publicising Whitechapel compared to the BBC, the BBC must be laughing. RPJ was still being shoved around local radio yesterday doing publicity. The BBC news (cyber attack headline yesterday) seems to be helping the publicity for Spooks accidentally. |

I'm not surprised - I've recorded Whirechapel the last two weeks. The first week was excellent but last night's degenerated into a farce. I'm sure a few people switched from it to Spooks. Series 9.7 Spoiler: show |

Spooks actually won by a small margin - 5.34m as against 5.07 plus another 225K on HD for Whitechapel!

Epi Six in The Guardian Guide (the little magazine bit) today is Pick of the Day with a picture of Lovely (Awful?!?!) Lucas and says:
"Easily the best episode in the series so far." Excited.....! |

RE: Series 9 Newspaper Reviews / Viewing figures etc
That's really great - usually the big dip in the numbers comes in the middle two episodes so things are looking good, ratings wise. They should get close to 5.8 for the finale and that's a good number.
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |
