His dynamic with Harry should be fun to watch. While I would hate the idea of Lucas not being around, if Vincent Regan's character do end up on the team or being Section Chief, it would certainly be a divergence from the norm of Harry's section chiefs. Tom, Adam, Ros, and Lucas are all (for the most part) good loyal soldiers who are serious about their duty and clearly admires Harry. Alec seems like a character bordering on being sarcastic and insolent, Harry's never had that for a section chief.... Who knows, maybe it will do the Grid some good if their Section Chiefs weren't so moody and broody all the time....lol Alec could possibly lighten the Grid up a bit....or we could always just focus on Dimitri's constant steady sunny happy disposition. Yeah, but I fear Harry's good scotch will constantly go missing.... Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |

LOL! Imagine Harry with an insolent Section Chief who talks back to home and generally act like a child and being annoying.....wow, that would certainly be a different kind of Grid... Just looking at the look on Lucas's face in this confession is heart-breaking, Richard Armitage really is nailing the hell out of this performance!!

RE: [spoilers] Episode 8 summary
So many questions left to resolve next week:
1) Where do the Chinese fit in - obviously the guess is: Series 9.8 Spoiler: show 3) Is Vaughan dead or alive? 4) Is there a way back for "Lucas" and indeed does he want one? 5) Will Maya stay with him if/when he tells her? and perhaps the most important question of all.... 6) Will Dimitri be so upbeat once we discover the answers to the above!! |

RE: [spoilers] Episode 8 summary
If Lucas/John is a sleeper agent he will just wait.......days, weeks, years. His real identity will only emerge after being woken up. There were many references to awakening in last night's episodes. Irrespective of all his past actions, it's all deep cover surely?

Oh great, I knew it! Lucas/John is working for the Easter Bunny! That must be it!!
Maybe the secretive Albany file is a file that says Santa doesn't exist? I mean, imagine the mass hysteria that will erupt among small children everywhere?? Surely Lucas would not let something this nefarious fall into the wrong hands?? RIP Carter Hall ~ Hawkman |
