Possible plot lines for series 10

Any ideas on possible plot lines or where the story is heading would be intrested to hear some ideas

Good idea. Let's start with who do we think is behind the impersonation of Harry? As Ruth (the doggedly brilliant bitch) clearly pointed out - someone with some power has access to H's codes.

Contenders:
Jim Coaver is obvious (too obvious?) and I think we might find out he is friend, rather than foe, despite whatever his 'masters' have tasked him with. His agenda will not be straight forward. It's in the Americans' interests to stop the new relationship with Russia but is Coaver in on it?

Then there is Towers. Is he really HArry's friend to be courting Ruth when he knows what she means to him both professionally and personally? He's clearly going to try to poach her. So perhaps he needs H to be set up to stop the Russian partnership which he may secretly disagree with. Then he can get rid of Harry as the fall guy. 2 birds, one stone.

Or Illya. Does he know about the affair and Sacha's parentage. Tellingly he said he had thought about H for years. An odd thing for a man to admit upon such a reunion. Perhaps he wants revenge. Perhaps he wants to also stop the deal, but has been tasked to complete it by his government and wants to save face. 2 birds 1 stone.

We might discover Tony Blair is behind it, given that he seems embroiled in all backroom dirty dealings these days
