...when you read about the Obamas visiting the UK and roll your eyes at the thought of all the security, and what a pain in the proverbial it'll be for UK security services having to deal with The Cousins endlessly talking about POTUS and FLOTUS!
"Where's Harry?" "Moving in mysterious ways." |

When you read "Harry's" Diary" on the bus and when you start saying a load of information, useful information and get called 'Ruth Evershed' for being a knowledge encylopedia
Actually I did explain Ruth to one of my friends, they said "Awww she's sounds nice... wish there were more people around like her" haha You and I...We're made of secrets-Ruth Evershed S10 "If it was up to me and Peter they'd have done it loads by now"- Nicola Walker |

When you're in a long meeting and someone decides to call the 'universal customer' Harry, so you call him Sir Harry (with a knowing smile to self) for the rest of the meeting and everyone thinks you are a bit off target (but the thought makes the meeting much nicer for you!)

...when you defend Spooks as being the first show to use split-screen before 24 popularised it.
...when you realise you're involved in a monologue cause the person who asked you a Spooks question has walked away ...when you realise that 'Steaknife' was a real MI5 operation as was discussed on HIGNFY and it makes you love Harry's Diary all the more, cause it has more realistic stuff in it than all the obvious facts that everyone knows. |

YKYASFW...you find out your child's swimming instructors are named "Tom" and "Lucas" and you think to yourself, "Well, Tom did marry an American but Lucas. North. is dead!"
Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet |
