However Jo also said this regarding the death of Adam, "The punishment doesn’t fit the crime... Harry, he was worth more.” almost saying to Harry that he should kill the russian man responsible for the death of Adam, so a bit of a mixed message from Jo. Nevertheless, still my favourite spooks quote, it's even in my signature!

especially since I'm gearing up to watch the entire series again-
this time, properly.. noticing details. savoring dialogue.

the first time, I was like a greedy child. watched all 9 series over a couple of weeks- I'm sure, missing swathes of stuff.
like skimming a book when it's too exciting to put down!

I'll just list the one I remembered right away:

episode about computer hackers, 'Spiders'

The team is sitting 'round the briefing table-
Harry has used a whopper of a metaphor for the hackers: 'Let me understand this- at 11:27 today someone thrust a hand up our skirt'
Some dialogue ensues.
Then, Ruth (defensively! early days.. ): Inflammatory? You said it yourself, we've just been raped!
Tom: No, no. No, Harry said we were groped, we weren't penetrated.

hard to forget that one!
