[spoilers] Adam and Ros

Thanks guys! I've actually made this exact same point in about six different places all over the forum and I've been trying to find new ways to say it.

i think it is rather rushed one moment they are drowing the next they are in bed, then they are sort of together, and harry even is aware of it. then there is the anna thing in which ros isnt happy with it, she knows she he is doing with her, she also knows that he has fallen for her. i dont think it is a boy friend girlfriend type thing i think its more casual than that! although i do think adam wants more than she is able to give, and then when they other is ready he isnt.

they were broken, the both really loved each other, but they are to similer and have to much baggage for it to work properly. ros gets it right when she tells him they have always been broken, and for them to be together they would haev to stop being who they are!

I think there's supposed to be a fairly long gap between S5 and S6, which would allow for them getting together and being so comfortable around each other in 6.01

But yeah, I did love them together; 6.08 = *SOB*

its how close they are before they find out about Yalta ;( he isnt angry that she betrayed the team as much as in she betrayed him! harry lets them get on with it! but its powerfull stuff! same in the room when he sticks her with the needle! and then her crying when he goes of int eh field! oh Nia they are adorable! (that smile in 7x01)

I would agree with Kazters that it is a more casual relationship. I loved Adam & Ros as a team but their sexual relationship always seemed a bit forced to me. From her introduction, I knew it was going to go there and almost hoped it wouldn't. I don't know if that is because of the general concept of them being together or that fact that it is a bit of a forced relationship for the characters. I did not see them as "in love." I saw them as more colleagues that have a lot in common, understand each others limitations and desperately need some human contact. While I felt a lot of chemistry between the actors, I did not feel passion between the characters.

I was relieved when Ros very smartly told him that it just wasn't going to work and still be able to be themselves. Although at the time I thought she may have been telling him that to protect herself emotionally.

Gosh yes - 6.8 is one of my all time favourites. The opening scene with them, the confrontation, the needle scene between them, in the field (saying goodbye ), "You are my outstanding officer" (not Adam/Ros, but still uh-may-zing), "If I came with you, they'd know", "Don't go missing my funeral"

oh nia harry shouting that that at her and her pleading with harry is so sad! but i agree the whole funeral thing shows quite how much she cared for him and him for her

I'm probably a minority but I've always loved Ros and Adam together. They're a bickering couple - one minute they're sleeping together, the next they're fighting. There's so much tension between the two of them and Rupert and Hermione play them wonderfully. I was gutted when both characters died.

I totally agree, i didnt see them as 'in love' but i did think that they had the sort of chemistry that allows a relationship to work. I completely loved both characters and 6.8 is in my top 5 episodes.
