I cried like a stupid girl with the Notebook. Other films that made me cry and a lot were: Moulin Rouge, The Bridges of Madison County, and "Mi vida sin mí" (My life without me).

It's an amazing film from my point of view, it makes you think a lot, about the important things in life... it's among my favourite films, I don't know why I haven't mention it before...
But it's impossible not to cry in this film, in fact I challenge anyone to try and not cry Big Grin

I cried too! Actually I always cry with Nicholas Sparks movies especially with Message in a Bottle. Undecided

Aha I am really heartless, I hardly ever cry at films.. in fact the only two in my whole life I have ever cried at (even as a child) are the little mermaid and atonement lol and don't ask me why those either. My friends threatened to disown me when I was the only person in the whole cinema who didn't cry art Marley and Me Tongue

I'm terrible. I cried in Toy Story 2, for which my sister mocks me mercilessly.

I also wept in Marley and Me. I remember looking around and seeing sobbing people all over the cinema. It's something about movies with animals, it just makes people cry.

I was watching the 2001 version of The Importance of Being Earnest with my sister today. It's an old fave and we love seeing Rupert Everett and Colin Firth singing, it's pretty funny. And Judi Dench is as different from the Edith Evans version as you can get.

I always always cry at Bambi (although I haven't actually seen it for a while now Sad

After crying like a baby reading the book of Marley and Me, I didn't have the stomach to go and see the movie.

Also loved The Importance of Being Earnest, but then I love most of Oscar Wilde's stuff, and I think Judi Dench is a legend, so what's not to like about that movie?

And I'm really happy that Avatar didn't win the Oscar for Best Movie...

Me too Silktie.

I love Wilde passionately. (Is there any other way to love?) I thought the newer version was terrific given how iconic the Evans production is and it was a first rate cast. Tom Wilkinson is one of those actors I would go and see anything he was in. I can't remember if I have talked about In the Bedroom, but it is one of the best modern thrillers I have seen and was also the first thing I remember seeing him in.

I like Dench very, very much and she's terrific but she has done the odd bad movie. For example, I'm not a fan of most Bond films and Chocolat is so crap, very average. Sorry if you liked it guys.
