I never went to school with anyone remotely famous, although I remember meeting the late Mo Mowlem a few years back when she came to my place of work at the time; she was wonderful.

He is indeed. Also went to the same school as both myself and Bell. Was a few years older than me, but his younger brother was in my year. And our fathers used to work together. His Dad was kind enough to get my copy of their 1st album signed. Big Grin

The school has had a few famous pupils: mostly notably Bell and Smith. But we've have a few professional footballers: Andrew Davies and Tommy Mooney.

I've been really lucky: I've met a fair few famous people over the years. From fellow Billingham gal Diane Youdale (aka Jet from the original Gladiators), Duncan Norvelle (comedian), Steve McClaren, Sally Gunnel, Peter Beardsley.

The most recent one was Alan Shearer who I got to interview, whilst on works experience at a local newspaper. Big Grin

I got to shake former US President Jimmy Carter's hand once. He was on the same plane as me, and made a point of walking through the whole plane and shaking everyone's hand.

Yeah, not too fond of colas, myself. I go through tons of Mountain Dew, however -- caffeine straight to the brain!

Actually, it was kind of funny, as you could tell most people had no clue who this old geezer was that insisted on shaking their hand!

I couldn't get my old name & password to work so I'm back under a new identity. (At least I haven't had to start a completely new life..)
Something you don't know about me: well, as it says in my profile, I really did go for a real-life spooks job..
Got passed 3 interviews - no, 4 actually, one at Thames House..
I couldn't talk about it at the time, but I will now!
So if you want to know what its like in there, just ask away...

Something else you don't know is that I was in love with Adam Carter for quite a few weeks but when I stopped seeing him every Tuesday night, even tho he will always hold a place in my heart, I was fickle enough to move on...though not to Lucas: he's not my type...terrible taste in women..
