 Spooks Nominated for International Emmy!
Spooks has been nominated for an international Emmy in the Best Drama category, along with many other UK shows.

Thats brill news !! Just looked up who Spooks is up against. The other nominees mean nothing to me but I am sure Spooks is the front runner.

Any of you who put money on Spooks lost money - they didn't win. The Danish show "The Protectors" won.
To be honest, the Emmys are a particularly odd crowd when it comes to awards, because it's intially done by ballot and then goes into committees. And given that the major acting awards were won by Brits, there might have been a bit of that coming into play. Who knows? Maybe this show is really good! Yes it was a shame they didnt win but to be nominated is quite an achievement. I doubt there has been any other drama series worldwide that has been nominated for an Emmy in their 7th series?
